not afraid

maybe some have been able to move away from that day abit, but i haven’t.

it’s been 7 years since the attacks of September 11th, 2001 and i still feel a certain kind of anxiety each year as this date approaches.  i have an intensity about what happened, a righteous anger against the kind of religious ideology that says it’s ok to come in and kill us all in the name of god.

the events of that day solidified something in me and millions and millions of other americans:

we are not afraid.  we continue to live our lives the best way we know how. we work, we play, we laugh, we live. we don’t waste one moment, nor sacrifice one bit of our beloved freedom, because of fear.

we are not afraid.

oh, and in the middle of all of our living, we are hunting down the ones who did this to us all over the world and either killing them (my preference) or bringing them to certain justice.

translation?  “i will not submit”.  we have prevailed.  let freedom ring.

son of hamas leader rejects islam

have you seen this?

alt : http://www.youtube.com/v/av3-OnlUedw&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0×2b405b&color2=0×6b8ab6&border=1

masab yousef turns his back on terrorism & islam becomes a christian and moves to the US. i don’t know why this clip leaves out the part where jonathan asks him if peace is possible and masab emphatically states the obvious. he says:

“there will never be peace with Israel. They will never allow it. Ever. They don’t want it.

you can read more about this guy here.  read it all.

so let’s give it to him

“Yes, this is what I wish, to be a martyr for a long time,” 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed declared today during his arraignment at Gitmo.  “I will, God willing, have this, by you.”

they cherish death.  their entire existence revolves around worshipping death, plotting death and pining away for a “glorious” death.

so execute him and his buddies and be done with it.  give him what he wants.  and remember, martyrs receive 72 virgins when they die for allah…

little do they know the virgins all look (and sound) like helen thomas.

the outrageous behavior of jimmy carter

today the former president of the US and leader of the free world left a wreath at the gravesite of the father of terrorism in the middle east — yasser arafat – something president bush resolutely refused to do.

the former president also had his first meeting with Hamas where he hugged nasser shaer, a senior Hamas politician.  carter called it a warm embrace.  *ack*

ok. so i can’t tell if carter is just ignorant, clueless, just plain stupid, or a blending of all three.  i do know is that he has now done more to embolden not just the enemies of Israel, but the enemies of his own country, while he pursues whatever insane legacy he is trying to make for himself.

you can’t even call this bravery on his part, because what he did here borders on treason.  i am now questioning if this man is actually sane or has gone senile. he has already demonstrated he is the epitome of naivety.

jimmy go away!  scat!

UPDATE:  another amazing quote from carter regarding his meetings with Hamas.  you won’t believe this…..

“In a democracy, I realize you don’t need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people.”

UNBELIEVABLE.

UPDATE:  rep. sue myrick (R-NC) issued a press release earlier today calling for carter’s passport to be revoked and rep. joe knollenberg (R-MI) is calling for taxpayer funding to be withdrawn from carter’s academic organization, the carter center.

coolio.

Fitna the movie - Graphic!

this movie has some seriously shocking images. it is a movie about the Koran, by Geert Wilders. i could not watch the entire thing, but i’ll keep trying. if you have forgotten what terrorism is about, you need to watch this. then you will remember.

Wilders releases controversial film on Islam

(EUX.TV) — Dutch member of parliament and outspoken Islam critic Geert Wilders on Thursday night posted on the Internet his long-awaited movie ‘Fitna’ on LiveLeak. The movie is a controversial critique of Islam as a ‘fascist’ religion.

This afternoon, LiveLeak removed the film after receiving “very serious threats.”  issuing this:  “In the end the price was too high.”

though the film has been pulled from LiveLeak, it is still available all over the web.  it’s an important piece of work and helps us all to understand exactly what islamofacists are all about. and really all of this seems to prove Wilders point doesn’t it?

i love a good veto

waterboarding - simulated drowning.  does this look like torture to you?

today, our president vetoed legislation meant to ban the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics.  in a time when ” the haters” incinerate 3000 of us, destroy our assets, behead us, and vow to hang the islamic flag over the white house, why would we NOT want every tool available to us to feret out necessary information from suspected terrorists to stop them?  to me its wildly inappropriate to limit this as a interrogation technique because of the seriousness of our times.

i mean get stinking real.  THIS is torture from Al Qaeda’s own manual….

and i guess if the bad guys still won’t spill it, there is always the ultimate torture…

anything
from these three is horror personified. :P

where is my waterboard?

see these guys?  TERRORISTS including the mastermind of 9/11 (the stupid-looking hairy one in the bottom L corner).

currently they are being held at Gitmo and are being charged by the Pentagon with murder and war crimes in connection with everything that happened on Sept. 11th.  their’s will be the first trials under the “terrorism-era” military tribunal system.  the military is recommending that they be tried together and they are seeking the death penalty.  the original rules for these tribunals were considered “mean and cruel” (no appeals, statements under torture allowed, behind closed doors) by many liberals and human-shield types in our country who screamed loudly and sued mightily.

after review, the SCOTUS struck the original tribunal plan down in ‘06 and congress - yes congress - gave the Pentagon new guidelines for the tribunals, including new rights to the terrorists.

the terrorists now get the same rights as us soldiers tried under the military justice system including the right to remain silent, call witnesses, and know the evidence against them. their appeals can go all the way to the SCOTUS.

officials plan to hold the trial in a specially constructed court at Gitmo that will allow lawyers, journalists and some others to be present, but leave relatives of Sept. 11 victims and others to watch the trial through closed-circuit broadcasts.

be prepared for months and months of loud outcries by the international community because we are seeking the death penalty on these creeps.  also be prepared to hear more grumbles on the fact that some of these guys were waterboarded and “coerced”.

unbelievable.

at the risk of being unkind, lets just give them the plan of salvation and then kill them.
