miracles in togas

well tonite is bo's big night.

into a crowd of 80,000 screaming disciples, he will decend from on high unto his temple and perform miracles, signs and wonders for our terrible and broken country.  he will restore our hope and change us from a failed country laying in the gutter of despair to a strong and prosperous place were freedom reigns and the weak and down trodden from all over the world take refuge here.   hey wait...

not only will the faithful be there - those who fainted, adored, swooned, and worked their butts off on his campaign;

but stars and celebrities will be there too.  in fact, here are some words of wisdom from that great patriot spike lee explaining to all of us morons bo's impact on all of humanity:

ah, such a sage!  did you catch that last line?  no?  well here it is:

"It means that this is a whole new world. I think...I've been saying this before. You can divide history. BB Before Barack. AB After Barack."

seems like i have heard something like that before --  bc (before christ birth) and ad (anno domini or after the birth of christ).

prior to the confetti, beach balls and fireworks that normally end the convention happen, will the obamamessiah give an alter call to the heathen (all of us heretics, unbelieving republicans and other thinking americans) to come into the fold?  count on it.

yawn.

the temple of obama

ok this guy has finally gone off the deep end.  as posted today by fausta, obama may be better suited to run for the presidency of the "United Federation of Planets" than the United States.  has his ego no bounds?  on thursday night bo will accept the nomination of the democrats in front of a fake Greek temple.  here is a pic of the stage:

what goofball obama operative though of this idea?   ah, the same one that concocted vero possumus and the fleeing eagle and the obama salute?  sweet.

we noted in an earlier post that the obama salute was from 'star trek' well it looks like this set comes straight from one of their more intriguing episodes called , “Who Mourns For Adonis?”  check it out:

here is what that particular episode was about and how some say it relates to obamis er, obama...

"The parallels are interesting, at least. Obama wants to treat us the way Apollo treated the Enterprise crew — as children who need do nothing but gather food and worship him. He promises them peace, tranquility, and happiness, as long as they agree to become his servants and relinquish their free will. In the end, Kirk and his crew destroy his power source and send him off to his fellow demigods in bitterness rather than allow themselves to become enslaved to Apollo."

well alrighty then.  that says it all doesn't it?  who knew that team obama were really trekkies.

the compassion of the messiah

meet obama's half brother, george hussein onyango obama.  by now you've seen his story all over the internet - how he earns $1 a month and lives in a shack.  here's an interesting take from lucianne:

this is what obama said at the Saddleback Forum:

"I think America’s greatest moral failure in my lifetime has been that we still don’t abide by that basic precept in Matthew that whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me"

by the way, here is a link from NRO that describes just how effective the ads that making fun of Obama and his "greatness" really are.

team obama: whiners

yes there's more fall out from the saddleback civil forum.  obama, knowing that he bombed, is crying like a baby and calling john mccain a cheater

hey, i admit i've called jmac alot of things myself but he's not a cheater.  this whole charge of a violation of the "cone of silence" is a crock.  and the mccain camp has responded.

anyone who watched the event on saturday couldn't help but notice that obama was clearly destroyed by his own lack of experience and substance.  none of the questions were cheap shots.  none of the questions were really unexpected.  both candidates knew the general questions that were going to be asked.  it was simply more evidence that you take away obama's teleprompter and his adoring, fainting fans and he is empty and vague and soft.

it's really quite a shame that this empty-suited crybaby - a mere creation by a democratic party and so desparate to win - cannot conduct himself more appropriatedly.

what we saw saturday night was a contrast in 2 men and the winner was evident.  no wonder obama doesn't want to do townhalls with mccain.

UPDATE 1:  oh and hey since there is such a lively debate happening over this in the comments section, i thought i would throw alittle red meat on the fire....

love it.  courtesy of m/m

UPDATE 2:  as a courtesy to our friends on the nutroot left who question the "cross in the sand" story jmac told at the saddleback forum, sister toldjah explains some stuffs way better then i could.  check her out.

UPDATE 3:    seems the nutroots who claimed that jmac ripped the "cross in the sand" story from alexander solzhenitsyn are indeed wrong.  you can see the proof  here.  however i am sure this either will not satisfy them or they will simply move on to some other manufactured outrage.

the obamamessiah

he really is getting pathetic as evidenced in his vague performance at the saddleback civic forum.  if you didn't get to watch it you can go here for both and article and liveblogging.  he was exceptionally horrid about abortion and he also misspoke about the stats and the reductions under the gwb administration -- he said they weren't going down and in fact they have steadily declined under president bush's leadership.  oh and by the way, the stats website?  pro-CHOICE.

watch this of obama on abortion:

there were a number of other areas he was weak on such as evil in the world, the supremes, his "advisors" in the wh (god help us with that one!).  anyway.  i clearly think mccain won.  obama was relaxed and warm but way too vague on serious topics.

of course the folks at the nose on your face couldn't wait to release this vid ( h/t  mm):
