file under "bomb at the box office"

here is the trailer for the oliver stone movie "W"...

alt : http://www.youtube.com/v/aEyJ2kdaaTQ&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1

yep, that's barbra streisand's  ("bs" as rush would say) son-in-law playing president bush.  probably those who suffer from the tragedy of bush derangement syndrome will go see the movie.  everyone else won't and like all the other hate bush/hate america movies, it will go to dvd sooner rather then later because it bombed at the box office.

and because i know you've missed her, here is bs herself in a recent interview on the upcoming election and obambi.

throwing the left under the bus

since his immaculate conception, bloggers have openly mocked the obamessiah for throwing everything and everyone under his short bus -- and we've enjoyed every moment of it of course.

this morning as i was reading to catch up on overnight news, i came across this interesting article.  it seems there is yet another victim -- his own anti-war left -- set aside in obama's race to the center for your vote.

check out this key excerpt:

"Not so long ago, Barack Obama was the darling of the anti-war Left. On a host of national security issues –Iraq, Iran, government surveillance of terrorists – Obama preached a friendly gospel and was worshipped turn as a political “messiah.” The liberal grassroots, sensing a kindred spirit in the Illinois Senator, rewarded him with the Democratic nomination. Nothing could come between Obama and his base.

Now something has. In a word: reality. As he courts the national electorate, Obama can ill-afford to sing from the same activist hymnal that propelled him, ever so narrowly, past Hillary Clinton. So it is that to the hair-pulling dismay of his supporters, Obama is leaving the Left – for the moment, at least."

just another blunt example of mr. "hope and change."  from flip flops galore to playing a victim to now a quasi-agreement with the president on iraq!  a truly fitting name because he hopes for your vote so he will change any which way he needs to go get it.   bah!

now if we could just get him to throw the hags of code pink under the bus....

just what we need: the next right!

conservatives & libertarians!  have you heard of this

"the next right" is a new project started by Patrick Ruffini, Jon Henke, and Soren Dayton designed to build a new Republican Party and conservative movement.  as a community-driven grassroots action website for the right, the next right will feature in-depth political analysis, on-the-ground reports, and strategic discussion and debate.   the launch date is May 27th.

sounds exciting doesn't it?  and maybe exactly the shot in the arm the conservative movement needs to respond effectively to left-leaning moonbats and those brats at the KOS who are dominating much of the blogosphere.

here's an excerpt of what patrick ruffini says about the next right:

If you’re looking for pure-play opinion and link bait on sundry topics from Ann Coulter to Jimmy Carter/Hamas, you won’t find it here. What you will find is in-depth (often unabashedly technical) writing about the election, the polls, the strategy, and the issues. Our analysis will track truth and stay true to the numbers. But it will self-consciously serve a greater purpose — educating YOU to be your own political strategist and start doing something — whether that’s blogging about your local Congressional race or Democratic corruption in your state, organizing fundraising drives, and maybe even managing races or running for office yourself. Only a revival of civic engagement at the grassroots level will create a conservative future we want: one that is pork-free and robust in the defense of our country and its values. We can’t call a switchboard and wait for Washington to fix the mess. We have to do it ourselves, from the ground up, in every state.

We don’t think this alone will solve the activism gap. Anyone who tells you that they alone have the answer is fooling you. This is not “the Daily Kos of the right.” What we’re hoping to do is create momentum and an intellectual framework for action — because action ultimately starts with narratives and ideas. We want grassroots conservatives and libertarians to start believing that they can make a difference again — a sense all too many have lost. Only you – and not some well-funded 527 — can bring the movement into the future. Only when grassroots conservative have a direct stake in the future of the party are we effective. The Next Right is about creating a vision for a 21st century Republican Party and conservative movement.

we really need to regroup don't you think?  we need to get back to basics.  to what made a conservative, a conservative.  we need be proactive, creative and use technology to our best advantage.  we need to NOT concede, retreat, back down, or stay silent.

read up on the next right yourself.  then go here to be notified when its up and running.  we need this.

obamacan... not

a ridiculously far-left loony website did a contest for campaign ads recently called "obama in 30 seconds."   i saw the winning ad called "obamacan" on their site about a republican who is now an obamacan (supporter of obama).  of course!  how original!   right.  same old blah, blah, blah.

i have no doubt that obamacans exist.  i just want to see their prior voting histories....  :P

so anyway, while i was temporarily in satan's lair, i saw some of the other entries that won noteable mentions.  i kindof thought this one was pretty original!  it's the winner for "funniest ad" and the talent is Alexandra Barreto, Rider Strong and Shiloh Strong from LA.  its called "it could happen to you."   and mccain folks?  take notes.  get a better pr campaign going!

and because i don't want nasty emails, yes i did fumigate upon my return to the light.  and obamacans?  mccain is still gonna kick barry's booty in november.

pink pointy hats

those pink moonbats have outdone themselves this time!  the ridiculous hags of code pink are now, in desperation, casting spells on the Marines they have been protesting in Berkeley for eons now.

they say this is simply a recruitment effort to increase their numbers of supporters protesting Berkeley's controversial Marine Corp Recruitment Center - Semper Fi!

the women's anti-war group has told ralliers to come equipped with spells and pointy hats *coughpublicitygimmickcough* today for "Witches, Clowns and Sirens Day" -- the last of the group's weeklong "homage" to Mother's Day.  oh please!

head moonbat for code pink in the bay area, Zanne Sam Joi told FOXNEWS "women are coming to cast spells and do rituals and to impart wisdom to figure out how we're going to end war."

this week has been full of pink-themed protests in honor of Mother's Day which included days to "galvanize grannies" and the ever popular "bring-your-junior-female-moonbat-to-protest" day.  these however didn't do much to boost their lowering numbers.  *smirk*

recruiter Capt. John Paul Wheatcroft said he's unfazed by code pink's antics.  "They're always in pink and wear funny things, half-shaved heads, one side with hair and the other one bald, yeah, I'm pretty much used to anything." he told FOXNEWS.

for some fun click here to watch a FOXNEWS "protest" cam stationed at the scene to catch any action by those wild and crazy moonbats in pink!

h/t to zombie as always for such delicious pictures!

UPDATE:  can the space around these moonbats get any more bizarro?  it seems Chris F. a "pagan" and 12 yr. armed forces veteran is appalled at the pink coven's recent activities.  he said, "These Code Twit girls are so full of it, it’s ridiculous. I’m half tempted to sue them for religious slander and a hate crime against pagans for acting like such idiots."

conservative aliens? cool.

ok so i have a thing about aliens, zombies, and tin foil hats.  i'm not sure why.  *cough*   and i've decided to file this particular post under " the weird and the odd"....

as you know one of the songs obama uses all the time during his campaign stops across the country is "small town" by john mellancamp.  obama has even been known to sing along much to the delight of the crowd.

well it seems a group of politically astute aliens -- the kind from a galaxy far, far away -- have gotten into the race for US presidency by re-writing the words of that particular campaign song.  check them out here.

general petraeus, american hero

we all remember this despicable ad placed in the NYT the day before general petraeus' testimony 6 mos. ago before congress:

general petraeus became the victim of inexcusible personal and quite vicious attacks from the whackos at moveon.org and other ultra-liberal groups.

well, senator mitch mcconnell, (R) ky has provided a forum to say thanks from all of us who appreciate the hard work and sacrifice of this american hero.  the senator has created a page on his campaign website where people can show their gratitude for Petraeus’ accomplishments in Iraq.

go there and sign the card.  by the way, as the hearing progresses, i will be adding updates as needed especially if the code pinkos act stupid.  hehe

and if you are interested, Tom Elia is keeping a protester interruption scorecard.  :P

update:  another mccain senior moment confusing sunni and shia again.  oy.

update:  joe liebermann said this in response to the nay-saying windbags on the (D) side "Their attitude is 'Hear no progress in Iraq, see no progress in Iraq, speak of no progress in Iraq.' I wish we could have agreement on the charts you have shown, the facts you have told us…we’ve got to give some credit for that.”   wtg joe.

i've always hated those flying monkeys

sometimes words are unnecessary... even on a blog.

h/t lucianne

moronic story of the week

this is certainly the most ridiculously outrageous measure ever passed by any town in american history....

worse than arresting someone for throwing chewing gum on the sidewalk. worse than arresting someone for shaving on sunday.  worse then arresting someone who painted their house mental ward green.

the little towns of brattleboro and marlboro vermont have passed a measure that would force their constables to arrest the President and/or Vice President of the United States if they ever set foot in
their towns Really.

in brattleboro, the vote was 2,012 for and 1,795 against. in marlboro, it was 43 to 25, with three abstentions.

morons for sure.  worse.... ZOMBIE morons!
