fun with nobama's seal

so by now you've all heard about another casuality under nobama's bus - his faux presidential seal.  but only after days of relentless mockery.   yep...not a real bright idea that one!

journalists, normally falling all over themselves to please nobama,  said the seal "smacked of arrogance" and "was a supremely dumb idea."  john mccain's camp had a field day, calling the seal “laughable, ridiculous, preposterous and revealing - all at the same time.”

well for your viewing pleasure... let me revive it again:

i know when i first saw it, i thought it was a cleverly photoshoped joke by some creative vast right wing conspiracy-type blogger.  when i found out it was deliciously real, it just emphasised once again the high degree of "self - love"  that the obamessiah has for himself.

what's next, a golden calf, oops, statue of himself we all bow down and worship?  what a nit!  yes, nit.

so anyway, the mockery of nobama's seal is still going on all around the internet and those totally amazing aliens, the moxargon group (one of my regular hangouts on the internet), have done some fun things with nobama's seal and here is an example:

can you hardly stand it?  go visit them here and spend some time there reading their fantastic blog.

1 - Cool site there Zoey. I think I may have been there a time or two. I read a couple of their back posts -- the one on explaining oil prices was particularly good especially the brazil part. heh.

Yep I think Obambi shot himself in the foot with this whole seal thing. (Comment this)

3 - I have been to the MoxArgon group before. That is a crazy site. I think it's a really innovative way to spread conservative political thought actually.

I think the fact that Obama actually agreed to having his own "seal" regardless of whose idea in the campaign is still the height of arrogance. What comes next? A remix of "Hail to the Chief?" (Comment this)

Sen. Hagel won't endorse McCain
The Republican says he'd consider a post in an Obama Cabinet.
From Bloomberg News
June 28, 2008

Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) declined to endorse his party's likely presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, and said he would consider serving in a Cabinet under Democrat Barack Obama.

But Hagel, who last year considered a White House run as an independent, said he would remain a registered Republican, at least for now.

"I don't have any plans to endorse any candidate," Hagel, 61, said in an interview on Bloomberg Television's "Political Capital With Al Hunt," to be broadcast today.

Hagel broke with his party over the war in Iraq, which he called a "catastrophic mistake." He voted with Democrats to withdraw troops and against President Bush's troop buildup in Iraq last year.

Hagel criticized McCain for saying that Obama, the Democrats' likely presidential nominee, misunderstands the war in Iraq and was wrong to oppose the troop buildup. Hagel called McCain's criticism a "superfluous, gratuitous political comment."

Because Hagel has been a critic of the Bush administration, his name often surfaces as a potential high-level appointee among Democrats as well as Republicans. He said he would have a duty to consider a request to serve from any president, including as Obama's secretary of Defense.

Hagel has policy differences with both candidates, but said his disagreement with Obama is "probably is not as big" as his differences with McCain.
