Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal.speaker pelosi? here's just one fact for you: Iran was responsible for killing at the very least, 170 Americans in Iraq in 2007. and frankly after such asinine statements coming from someone with so much power and who should know better, i am questioning your patriotism and your sanity!
And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians."
