"abortion man" - not so funny

anyone who knows me personally or reads my blog regularly knows i am unashamedly pro-life.  comedian Damon Wayans has posted an extremely crude, offensive skit on youtube in which he portrays “Abortion Man.”

some prolife advocate groups report that many pro-lifers want the video pulled, while others like jill stanek suggest it is possibly an anti-abortion message similarly to the one from comedian chris rock.  the wayans video is also under fire by some on the left like salon.


so what do you think?  is wayans trying to send an anti-abortion message here?  or is this simply irresponsible potty humor at the expense of one of the most serious moral and social issues of our time? oh and a reminder of what all the "fun" is about:

1 - That was pretty crass. I can't imagine why the Wayans -- who normally I LOVE would do something like this as a social state. Seems bizarre to say the least.

2 - Zoey as horrible as this stupid video is, it may actually be helpful to the pro-life movement for the very fact that it is graphic and crass and really insensitive. I would not pull it.

Up until AbortionMan flew down to the girl and punched her in the stomach, I thought that it was actually a pro-life vid with a comedic overtone. I'm SO DISGUSTED. (Comment this)
