general petraeus, american hero

we all remember this despicable ad placed in the NYT the day before general petraeus' testimony 6 mos. ago before congress:

 

general petraeus became the victim of inexcusible personal and quite vicious attacks from the whackos at moveon.org and other ultra-liberal groups.

well, senator mitch mcconnell, (R) ky has provided a forum to say thanks from all of us who appreciate the hard work and sacrifice of this american hero.  the senator has created a page on his campaign website where people can show their gratitude for Petraeus’ accomplishments in Iraq. 

  

go there and sign the card.  by the way, as the hearing progresses, i will be adding updates as needed especially if the code pinkos act stupid.  hehe

   

and if you are interested, Tom Elia is keeping a protester interruption scorecard.  :P

update:  another mccain senior moment confusing sunni and shia again.  oy.

update:  joe liebermann said this in response to the nay-saying windbags on the (D) side "Their attitude is 'Hear no progress in Iraq, see no progress in Iraq, speak of no progress in Iraq.' I wish we could have agreement on the charts you have shown, the facts you have told us…we’ve got to give some credit for that.”   wtg joe.

1 - The Code Pink crowd are a disgusting bunch. What they have done in the city of Berkley is amazing. The very freedom of speech they enjoy American troops have died for. I don't see how Petraeus can even stand to be in the same room as the creeps. I guess that is a testament to his character and theirs. (Comment this)

4 - This is not the first time McCain messed up the shia/sunni story. Good Lord! He bases his whole candidacy on Iraq and War on Terror and he fundamentally messes up the players ... repeatedly. We are so doomed in November.

now don't be rude. i am not going to bash the McCain girls like everyone else *coughYOUcough*. my point is i am not sure how much they help him.
i do wish they hadn't did a remake of annie lennox -- that crosses the line for me a bit. of course no one can really do annie lennox. (Comment this)
