if you don't know him, meet him...

i love this group: the non-partisan Vets for Freedom National Heroes Tour  and David Bellavia who has written a new book called House to House

David has decided to run against a Iraq Veterans Against the War candidate for a Congress seath/t blonde sagacity

"Mr. Bellavia is the recipient of both the Silver and Bronze Stars, and the Conspicuous Service Cross, New York State 's highest award for combat valor. He also has been nominated for The Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions in a fierce, urban, hand-to-hand fight in the battle of Fallujah in November 2004."

do you live in NY?  in his district?  isn't this the kind of person we want representing us?  go vote for this guy!

1 - I like this guy! I think I have seen him interviewed a time or 2. I think I would vote for him too. I guess all of those medals he received pretty much tells the hell he went through in Iraq. (Comment this)

2 - Zoey did you hear they were kicked out of a Minnesota high school? They were there to speak and the leader of the group, Veterans for Freedom, graduated from there for geez sakes and the principal kicked them out! It was all over the news here. I think this kid Dave Bellavia was with them. They had a presentation instead at the VFW hall. HUGE Crowd.

3 - He seems great. We are in a blue state and don't have anyone like him running. (Comment this)

4 - Why our government awards these kind of people medals for good work I will never know. In the days of the Iraq occupation that Fallujah was taken, there was a blood bath of innocent Iraqi people. I wouldn't vote for this guy as far as I could spit.

6 - anonymous. when fallujah was taken, the townspeople had been given fair warning for days to leave because of what was imminent. loud speakers in arabic and farsi; leaflets galore; town leaders were told... most left. those who stayed where the criminals, the terrorists, the insurgents, and al qaeda elements. you seem quite concerned for the iraqi lives lost. are you concerned for all the american soldiers lost that day too? i am really glad you are not the arbitor of who deserves the medals and who doesn't. thanks for visiting my blog. (Comment this)
