i've always hated those flying monkeys

moronic story of the week

this is certainly the most ridiculously outrageous measure ever passed by any town in american history....

worse than arresting someone for throwing chewing gum on the sidewalk. worse than arresting someone for shaving on sunday.  worse then arresting someone who painted their house mental ward green.

the little towns of brattleboro and marlboro vermont have passed a measure that would force their constables to arrest the President and/or Vice President of the United States if they ever set foot in their towns.  Really.

in brattleboro, the vote was 2,012 for and 1,795 against. in marlboro, it was 43 to 25, with three abstentions.

morons for sure.  worse.... ZOMBIE morons!

1 - First off, Hillary Clinton would make a great president and restore back our standing in the world. Second off, when will conservatives understand the very basic fact that Bush and Cheney are war criminals and need to be prosecuted? Denial is not a river in Egypt.

2 - hey JR. thanks for visiting my blog again. there are so many things i could say in response to your comment but i will try to condense it to just a couple of thoughts... 1) libs like to say "restore our standing" in the world... well really who does hate us? terrorists? check. extremists? check. anarchists? check. socialists, communists, and totalitarianists? check. well i say cool. we must be doing something right. 2) vermont should just secede if they are so unhappy; leave all of our federal help -- including the military -- and just become their own little kingdom. :P (Comment this)

5 - I am all for states rights and local governance. However the idea that communities in this country can charge the Pres. & the VP with crimes and issue arrest warrants if they come to town is outrageous. So, if the Pres went to Vermont to these towns and the local cops tried to arrest them, would the Secret Service who's job it is to protect the President with their very lives allow it? Of course not! It would be a battle between the 2 law authorities. Ridiculous.
