tripping over their own cool-ness
so did you watch the (D) debate last night? a few observations...
first, the odd lovefest between obama and hillary... i guess after these last few weeks of barfights between those two, i find that much affection and care-giving just a wee bit fake. the hugs, the whispers in the ear, the secret smiles, the pulling out her chair... are they dating?
i counted 6 majorly loud cackles from hillary and scads of little ones.
the debate venue was a statement in itself. it was at the huge Kodak Theatre in hollywood where the oscars are held each year -- the big gold guys standing guard at the front doors. flashy. limos. paparazzi. the audience was filled with hollywood celeb's, movers & shakers, beautiful people, the so-called "a-list" folks. media and most elected officials up high in the gallery and seated in the front row was steven spielberg and his wife...
