general wesley clark: idiot moonbat

so what if john mccain spent more then 5 years in the hanoi hilton being tortured.  no big deal.  what else has he done to qualify himself to be president?

well according to barack obama surrogate, general wesley clark, not much.

clark showed up yesterday on "Face the Nation" with bob schieffer.  he attacked mccain's military service saying that he was "untested and untried".  can you believe that?  after schieffer pointed out the mccain had:  1) commanded the largest naval air squadron,  2) had honorably endured over 5 years of torture as a POW in vietnam, and  3) had been on the senate armed services committee since obama was in college, schieffer asked clark how he could claim that mccain was "untested and untried".

here are some of the low-lights of what clark's response was:

"Because in the matters of national security policy making, it’s a matter of understanding risk, it’s a matter of gauging your opponents and it’s a matter of being held accountable. John McCain’s never done any of that in his official positions. I certainly honor his service as a prisoner of war. He was a hero to me and to hundreds of thousands of millions of others in the armed forces as a prisoner of war. He has been a voice on the Senate Armed Services Committee and he has traveled all over the world. But he hasn’t held executive responsibility. That large squadron in the Navy that he commanded wasn’t a wartime squadron. He hasn’t been there and ordered the bombs to fall. He hasn’t seen what it’s like when diplomats come in and say, `I don’t know whether we’re going to be able to get this point through or not. Do you want to take the risk? What about your reputation? How do we handle it publicly?"

at which point, bob schieffer — after a stunned moment — pointed this out to wesley clark:

SCHIEFFER: "I have to say, Barack Obama has not had any of those experiences either, nor has he ridden in a fighter plane and gotten shot down. I mean…"

wow.  so let’s point out a few things about wes clark's man, barack obama:

  • in “the matter of national security policy making.” barack obama hasn’t ever done anything.
  • in the matter of gauging your “opponents”, obama wants to meet with them without preconditions despite having no national-security, military, or diplomatic experience.
  • barack obama hasn’t been on the senate armed services committee.
  • barack obama hasn’t had any executive experience.
  • barack obama hasn’t commanded anything, in wartime or not.
  • barack obama hasn’t dealt with diplomats in any capacity at all.
  • barack obama hasn’t ordered the bombs to fall, although to be fair, he has associated himself with someone who has — william ayers, the unrepentant terrorist from chicago.  h/t hotair

every claim clark made is more fitting for the ill-prepared and non-experienced obama then mccain!   any so-called experience that barack obama sites as preparation to the presidency can't stand a candle to john mccain's.  if the obama stategy is to demean and belittle mccain's military service, it might get rave reviews from far left moonbats but regular Americans will be appalled at these attacks against a man who's whole life has been in public service.   obama surrogates have attacked mccain on his age, his mental state, his bravery, and his honesty.  now this.  just another flaw in the exceptional "judgement" of obama and another example of the "change" obama promises to bring.  what a crock.

everyone who reads my blog regularly knows i disagree with a number of mccain policy points and that he gives me heartburn occasionally but i never have questioned his lifetime of experience to lead this country.

UPDATE:  wesley clark goes under "the bus."   that didn't take long

Barack Obama just delivered a speech on patriotism in Independence, Mo., hometown of what was once America's most powerful haberdasher, and offered a mild rebuke to Wesley Clark, who took on John McCain's military record the other day in rather scorching terms.

And just to make it clear, an Obama spokesman sent out this brief statement as Obama was speaking: "As he's said many times before, Senator Obama honors and respects Senator McCain's service, and, of course, he rejects yesterday's statement by General Clark."

why didn't obambi condemn it yesterday when it was made?  and by the way, wesley clark?  not sorry.

UPDATE 2:  have you seen this?  in light of wes clarks' foot-in-mouth moment, this is even more hilarious.  turn up your sound and enjoy!

fun with nobama's seal

so by now you've all heard about another casuality under nobama's bus - his faux presidential seal.  but only after days of relentless mockery.   yep...not a real bright idea that one!

journalists, normally falling all over themselves to please nobama,  said the seal "smacked of arrogance" and "was a supremely dumb idea."  john mccain's camp had a field day, calling the seal “laughable, ridiculous, preposterous and revealing - all at the same time.”

well for your viewing pleasure... let me revive it again:

i know when i first saw it, i thought it was a cleverly photoshoped joke by some creative vast right wing conspiracy-type blogger.  when i found out it was deliciously real, it just emphasised once again the high degree of "self - love"  that the obamessiah has for himself.

what's next, a golden calf, oops, statue of himself we all bow down and worship?  what a nit!  yes, nit.

so anyway, the mockery of nobama's seal is still going on all around the internet and those totally amazing aliens, the moxargon group (one of my regular hangouts on the internet), have done some fun things with nobama's seal and here is an example:

can you hardly stand it?  go visit them here and spend some time there reading their fantastic blog.

David Petraeus, the architect of “the surge” which has helped stabilize Iraq. guests will appear via skype or webcam, some during their radio shows.

you can participate by watching right here at blatherings as well as many blogs and websites around the internet.  you can also purchase care packages right now, right here, both in advance and during the web-a-thon.

obama or die

so did you watch the BET black entertainment awards show last night?  you would have thought that the obamessiah himself was in the room with all the worshipping of him going on!

p. diddy -- or is he back to using his real name -- sean combs.  i get confused.  well, he led the service with a rousing rendition of "obama or die" chants throughout the sanctuary er, i mean auditorium.

"If we all register and vote, we will have the first black president in the history of America," p. diddy told the BET crowd.  of course we know there is nothing new under the sun and this little diddy -- pun intended -- is a knock off remix of his more neutral "vote or die" motto from the '04 presidential election when he attempted to boost that much sought after youth vote.  i guess he didn't think "kerry or die" would quite rock their vote.

but wait!  there's more!  then, alicia keys channeled britney when she accepted her award for best r&b artist (love her!).  she shouted to the crowd "obama y'all!"

ok.  call me hip-challenged but what does "obama or die" mean?  that if he doesn't win black people everywhere are down that much further on the so-called equality ladder?  or does it mean if he doesn't win, diddy or some rapper thug types will go out raging in the night?

it just sounds dumb to me.

UPDATE:  here is a fun vid produced by those crazy "South Park" guys on diddy --- maybe some premonition thing going on since its from 2004 when he was puff daddy.  but its hilarious!  caution: it is South Park so here's your language and sensibilities check!   h/t to hotair for this.

"it's ok to laugh at him"

john stewart, one of the prince's of the left, has given the faithful permission to laugh at the obamessiah!  i sure hope hell isn't freezing over too.

this is a clip from last night's monologue of "The Daily Show" where john stewart openly mocks obama for his ridiculous faux presidential seal GAFFE  to his FLIP FLOP on campaign financing.  i will say that the laughter seems hesitant and a bit nervous to all of stewart's jokes which are really funny.... something that hot air also is blogging about.

check this out.  feel free to laugh with great gusto around here -- no pc police allowed!

the hags from code pink at it again!

well the witches in pink are at it again.

this past weekend code pink decided to hold another one of their countless protests at the berkeley marine recruiting center.   yep, the hags were classy enough to disrupt a eulogy a gold star mom was giving for her son.  and with the code pink hags, were those ever popular "World Can’t Wait" anarchists showed their class by throwing nazi salutes and booing the national anthem.   here's some pics and a vid from zombie:

the moonbat hags in pink above and the moonbat nazi's below:

here is also a video of the event where the moonbats are disrupting the national anthem:

but the good news is there was indeed a counter protest.  good americans were there, from motorcycle clubs to kids and their moms, standing in support of our marines, this country, and yes the moonbat's freedom of speech.

it's incredibly cool to be patriotic.  it's always right to support our troops.

another big endorsement for Obama!

team obama must be wetting their pull-ups about now over their latest evil dictator endorsement.  yep.  that loveable, fluffy not fat, nuclear weaponry-obsessed, bad boy tyrant of southeast asia -- kim jong il has noted publicly his preference for an obama victory in our election '08.

the dear leader joins such other noteable despots as fidel castro. qaddafi,  and hamas in endorsing barack obama.  and of course here in America, obama has enjoyed such stellar endorsements as hanoi jane and local homegrown terrorists william ayers and bernadine dohrne just to name a few.

surely by now someone in team obama, if not the messiah himself, is asking why all these anti-american tyrants and other notable creeps keeping endorsing his run for the white house.  all he needs now is osama's endorsement -- stay tuned!

h/t to beth at right pundits for a great photo of the dear leader.  um, that would be the one of kim jong il not obama! ;)

obama blinks on playing the race card

team obama’s been playing the race card for a long time now though they like to pretend they're really about hope and change.  what seems to be a wee bit different this time around is that the candidate himself, has decided to launch the smear and fear tatics of race baiting instead of letting his possessed minions do it for him.

here's what that beacon of hope and change said yesterday:

"It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy," Obama told a fundraiser in Jacksonville, Florida.   "We know what kind of campaign they're going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid.

"They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"

so, while the mainstream media continues to lose all objectivity over this race baiting empty suit to the point of equating him as the first female president, (hey they said it not me), i note again:  you are a dangerous man obama.  you are the scary one.  you are the race baiter.  you would divide us not unite us.

so scat!

in the meantime, for those of you who continue to believe in this "hopechangery"  feel free to access this:

barry and his minions would not want you to leave home without it!

h/t to my cotillion sister, Cassandra at Villanous Company for the cool race card pic.  Go read her terrific post on this today at her blog!

"yes we can pooh!"

"the view" starring guest host michelle obama, part 2:  so yesterday matthew broderick (one of my favorite actors) was a guest on the view. as the ladies were chatting away with him, he said that his son who is what, 5 (?) is an obama fan.  he is???!?  matthew broderick went on to say this:

"He really follows the election and he really takes to your husband."

and the bright and charming michelle said in response:

"You know, kids are drawn to Barack.  I think it's because his name is easy to say."

good grief.  add this moment of brillance to the column for why First Lady's really do matter!  and note that now not only does he have the youth vote locked up as i have previously blogged about here, but he also can count on the pre-school bloc as well.  fist bumps people!

i know it's almost blasphemous to mess with pooh but a big hat tip to the good patriots at american elephants for this nifty pic that i ripped.  sweet isn't it?
