hockey mom or pit bull?

bill kristol on sarah palin, hockey mom

“McCain aides whose judgment I trust are impressed by Sarah Palin. One was particularly amused by this exchange: A nervous young McCain staffer took it upon himself to explain to Palin the facts of life in a national campaign, the intense scrutiny she’d be under from the media, the viciousness of the assault that she’d be facing, etc.:

Palin: “Thanks for the warning. By the way, do you know what they say the difference is between a hockey mom and a Pit Bull?”

McCain aide: “No, Governor.”

Palin: “A hockey mom wears lipstick.”

sweet!

Yea I think she’s a lot tougher then the liberals give her credit for. I also think she is going to give Joe “Plugs” Biden a run for his money.

    Hang tough!

The scuttlebutt around the Republican campfire is that they’re asking her to gracefully step down. Not only can’t she keep her trampy daughter from being knocked up by the village idiot, but she’s a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a group that wants to secede from the nation. You know, the nation she wants to be VP of? In short, she’s nuts and McCain looks like a nitwit for choosing her in the first place.

Hey Anonymous good to see you.

I know thats the libs greatest fantasy but the only place Sarah Palin is going is into Dick Cheney’s old office. She’s not stepping down! And as far as being a member of the AIP that was a lie too. Totally debunked with documentation and here is the link: http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/02/mccain-campaign-palin-a-republican-since-1982/

You are too smart to drink koolaid from the far left. Don’t develop palin derangement syndrome expecially since you already have a pretty severe case of bush derangement syndrome.

Well, Zoey, I know I’m not objective, but I think this pick for vice-president is a disaster for McCain. There’s still a scandal swirling around the way she fired the Alaska Public Safety Commissioner. Notice that ever since the announcement of Palin as McCain’s running mate they have kept her far away from cameras and microphones. And McCain himself canceled an interview with Larry King.

My guess is that the McCain campaign is frantically trying to figure out how to handle this. And I don’t care what they say, it is very obvious that Ms. Palin was not thoroughly vetted when they chose her. The word I’ve heard is that McCain wanted Lieberman as his running mate, but that his campaign manager, Charlie Black, nixed it, saying it would destroy McCain’s support with the republican base.

We’ll see….Palin speaks tonight at the RNC.
